Valentin Buciumas (Postech)

In a 1988 paper titled “Local Shimura correspondence”, Savin describes the Iwahori Hecke algebra on the metaplectic cover of a p-adic group and relates it to the Iwahori Hecke algebra of a (potentially different) reductive p-adic group. I will explain how to generalize these results to the setting of p-adic loop groups and p-adic Kac-Moody groups.
