We study poles of Eisenstein series using generalized Fourier coefficients. Doing so, we determine the poles and their orders in Eisenstein series in GL involving Speh representations. We also prove a vanishing result for some Eisenstein series at the center of symmetry. This is joint work with David Soudry.
